Please check here indicating that you will attend the Building Coordinator's informational meeting on Monday, December 7, 2009 from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. via Elluminate. Please go to http://vclass.cciu.org/ to join the meeting on December 7th

Please confirm that you are aware of the rules below by reading and checking off each item listed:

Elementary competition is for 4th and 5th grades only.

Middle/Jr High competition is for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades only.

Senior High competition is for 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades only.

I understand that I must provide two teacher volunteers per team: one to act as the team chaperone and supervise the team throughout the event; another teacher will be assigned as either a moderator or scorekeeper. It is my responsibility to ensure that two teachers are present at the event. I am also responsible for finding replacements in the event one of my volunteers can not make it.

I understand that the Reading Olympics Committee will assign the moderator/scorekeeper role. The moderator and scorekeeper will work together as a team for the entire evening. They will stay in the same room for the three (3) rounds of competition. They will not see their team in action during the competition.

I understand that the Reading Olympics Committee uses Preliminary Registration to assign which schools will participate on which night. I also understand that I must complete Team Registration for each team (team registration opens in January) and pay the $30 fee PER team by February 17, 2010 in order to participate in the Reading Olympics.
